BIOGRAPHY

Joanna is a Henley Business School qualified coach, facilitator and leadership development specialist. She is an Advanced Hogan practitioner and certified in Gallup Strengths assessment. Joanna is a trained Gallup Strengths Coach and Nancy Kline Thinking Partner. She was also coached and supervised by Professor Patsy Rodenburg of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in presence, communication and impact.

Joanna helps her clients to evolve their leadership style, impact and effectiveness, enabling them to fulfil their potential for sustained personal and business success. She supports her clients to use their strengths to navigate complex issues and make good decisions about their business and their role. Her work with teams, including Boards and Executive Committees, focuses on building judgment capability and improving team dynamics including collaboration, communication and performance.

Joanna has over two decades of experience in corporate communications and government relations. She is a former Partner with Brunswick Group, Director of Corporate Affairs for Barclay’s Global Retail and Commercial Bank and government relations lead for HSBC’s Global Businesses including Global Banking & Markets, HSBC’s global investment bank. She also co-founded and served on the Board of an international public affairs business now present in fifty countries. Joanna has specialist stakeholder management experience of advising on M&A/antitrust and engaging with regulators, government and third party advocacy groups.

She holds a degree in Law from the London School of Economics with a special focus on Climate Change. She is a member of the Board of Yorkshire Ballet Seminars and sits on the Advisory Council of the Foreign Policy Centre, a international relations think tank.

Her bespoke approach draws on evidence-based coaching techniques and proven coaching models. Her clients range from senior leaders and their teams in the corporate and professional services arenas to emerging talent and the next generation of leaders.

Over time, Joanna helps her clients to build strong and effective relationships, navigate complex situations and make good decisions. Individuals and teams gain a deeper understanding of their personal brand, reputation and leadership style including who they are, what they bring and how they are perceived. These insights enable them to manage themselves and their careers more effectively through critical transitions.

She is also expert in career management, working with individuals at a career crossroads or key points in their life when they need to make important decisions about future direction.
